Cambridge 2000: Medical Research Council: Hills Road: Laboratory for Molecular Biology
The interior of this building is no better than the exterior,
the offices are very cramped, but in spite of this some of the
best research in Cambridge in the second half of the twentieth
century took place in this building.
The back two thirds was the original building, which dates from
the 1960s, the front third dates from the 1970s. There were
later extensions behind built in the 1980s and later.
In 2012 the LMB move to a
new building
at the west edge of the Addenbrooke's site.
