Several companies occupied this office complex. It was built in the days when the local government wanted such buildings to provide many car parking spaces, and so there was a large garage underneath and further parking to the side. Later government policy swung completely the other way, no new office building is allowed to have enough car parking spaces.

The entrance porch was added in the late 1990s.

For some reason, the building was never a great commercial success, and in line with what was happening elsewhere in Cambridge at the time, in 2016 it was announced that the building would be demolished and replaced with a student accommodation block, this one for St Edmunds's College.

The building was demolished in the autumn of 2017.
