Located fairly close to the city centre, this is the middle of seven nearly identical buildings built speculatively by the architect at the same time as Willow Walk, located behind, and the connecting streets. These are the prestigious houses amongst the group. The five middle buildings are detached houses, the two end buildings are semi-detached houses. The house at the western end had a large Victorian addition and now looks slightly out of place.
