This war memorial is not as well known as the one on Hills Road, but it also was built to commemorate the Great War (First World War) and was unveiled on 14 May 1922. It is located in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church.
The memorial was refurbished in 2012, after the controversial felling of a red cedar tree that was growing right next to it.
