Tiffany/Duncan comment: |
Tiffany 1910 calls this the Van Rensselaer (spelled as Rennsaelaer) Memorial Window, so likely Mr. Fell's wife, Sarah Rozet Drexel Fell, whose second husband was a Van Rensselaer, was at least one of the donors and the person who organised the window with the Tiffany company [TIFF1910, DUNC1980, DEDUCED] |
Comment: |
The window is not listed in Tiffany 1897 and Sarah did not marry Van Rensselaer until 1898, so likely the window dates to >= 1898 even though the copyright says 1894 [TIFF1897, NYT1898, DEDUCED] |
