THE COMBINE_EG DIRECTORY:

This directory contains example scripts for using the "combine"
program to add and subtract data sets or to assemble a phase
sensitive spectrum from separate p-type and n-type data sets.

ADDITION:

The "add" combining function can be used to add up to four
data files together, sending the sum to a new .spc file.

To run the script type

	combine combine_add.scr <ret>

SUBTRACTION:

The "subtract" combining function subtracts data set 2 from
data set 1, sending the difference to a new .spc file.

To run the script type

        combine combine_sub.scr <ret>

GRADIENT EXPERIMENTS:

Gradient experiments are sometimes run to produce two data
sets, one p-type and the other n-type in an indirect dimension.
After these two spectra have been processed, the "gradient"
combining function is used to create a phase sensitive spectrum
in a new .spc file.

To run the script type

        combine combine_grad.scr <ret>

To get more help type

	combine help <ret>
