THE CONTOURS_EG DIRECTORY:

This directory contains an example script for creating a contour
file using the "contours" program. The output .cnt file can be
accessed by the "ansig" program.

MAKING CONTOURS:

To find the best contour levels, read the .spc file into the "plot2"
program and adjust the contour level in the "levels" menu to make the
spectrum look as desired. Create your own list of positive and
negative contour levels and copy these into the "contours.script"
file. The program requires the .spc.par file to be referenced
correctly for contours to be calculated in the expected region.
A subset of the spectrum can be contoured using the "ppm_range"
and "pnt_range" commands.

To run the script type

	contours contours.scr <ret>

To get more help type

	contours help <ret>
