Cambridge 2000: Queens' College: Silver Street: Fisher Building
This dominates the view from Queens' Green.
In July 2009 the city planted around 20 trees (Mongolian
Lime, Tilia mongolica) all over Queens' Green,
including along the path visible in the photo that
borders Queens' College. Although they only grow to
around 10m, their presence will change this view of
the Fisher Building if they manage to survive until
maturity (one of them was already vandalised shortly
after planting).
