The main building for UCLES (University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate) in Cambridge. They conduct pre-university examinations around the world, and education is a big export for Cambridge.
The site was previously occupied by the Perse School and some of the buildings from that era still exist around the back of this one.
At the far end there is also a less elegant 1970s extension.
In 2005 the university changed the name of the organisation to Cambridge Assessment.
In 2018 Cambridge Assessment moved to a new building on Shaftesbury Road.
