There are several large Victorian houses on Chesterton Road, which unfortunately is a busy road. This building was originally two semi-detached dwellings but around 1980 was converted into one for a Bed and Breakfast. After 2000 it was once more converted back into two semis.
There is a monogram (AEN) etched into the centre (surrounded by the circle of red brick), and perhaps that was the builder.
