This was the original site of the Perse School but when they no longer needed it the university converted and enlarged it for use first by Engineering, then by Physical Chemistry and now by the History and Philosophy of Science. The building is best known now for its fine museum of old scientific instruments, located in a large hall which is about all that remains of the Perse School as it was.
