An entrance mainly used by pedestrians and cyclists, with a magnificent hall overhead. That was originally occupied by the university law library but that moved to the Cockerell Building in the 1930s. The Marshall Library of Economics then occupied the building until it in turn moved to the Sidgwick Site in the 1960s (but the Marshall Library name is still carved over one of the entrances).
