Cambridge 2000: Grantchester Road, Trumpington: Vicarage, 1
A typical building for its era, this replaced an earlier
vicarage on the site. As can be seen in the photo, the
approximately right (southern) third of the house is an
extension of the 1730s building.
The church sold the vicarage in 2010 for 1.775 million
pounds (about 2 million Euros). In 2010-2011 it was
renovated for the new owners, with the addition of
some outbuildings and a wall to prevent access to the
garden. The architect for the work was
Freeland Rees Roberts.
