The foreground is the residential area between Cherry Hinton Road (at the bottom right) and Hills Road. Homerton College lies on the other side of Hills Road, just left of the middle of the photo. The main feature, though, is the ribbed roof of the Cambridge University Press Printing House, just to the right of the middle of the photo. At the top left of the photo can just be seen the radio telescopes of the Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory (MRAO).
