The view is of the Newmarket Road area at the bottom and north Cambridge at the top. Right at the bottom is Cambridge airport. The large lawn area in the middle of the photo is Stourbridge Common. The large white building to the left of that is the Simoco building. About halfway between the Simoco building and the airport, the rectangular grass area, with the four towers holding lights at the corners, is Cambridge United football ground.
