The 'new' building of the Department of Biochemistry.
As with all such departments there is often an
overwhelming smell in the labs, but the researchers are
soon desensitised to this.
The original idea was that the entire department would
be housed on this site, with this being the first phase
and another building (attached on this side in place of
the car parking) being the second phase, but lack of
money meant this did not happen, and when the
second half
was eventually built another department occupied it.
